Who we are….

Hey friend! Thanks for stopping by to check us out! My name is Sarah and this is my family. My husband Zach is the unofficial chief financial officer here at the bakery and our kiddos Caleb and Chloe are the taste testers. These little cuties are the reason for this entire bakery idea! Being a gluten free kid can be hard some days when you don’t get to enjoy what other kids do. I saw how excited our kids got when when a treat made by someone else meets their dietary needs and I wanted to do that for others. It has been a huge blessing to me to see that joy on other children’s (and adults’) faces!

What about the name Goodness and Grace? I’m glad you asked ;) The name was mainly inspired to honor a woman named Grace. Grace was a lovely woman who I knew well as a child. She was a family friend, but more like a grandmother to me. She spent time with me in the kitchen and showed me how to cook and bake with real ingredients. She gave my parents a handwritten cook book as a wedding gift with some of her favorite recipes which I discovered about 15 years ago. Many of my recipes are from this cookbook that I’ve revamped to fit the needs of our family and they have become best selling treats for the bakery. Plus the word grace is just something I’m so grateful for each and everyday. We all need a little goodness and grace in our lives and I hope these treats remind you of that!
